BUYER RESPONSABILITIES

UnlockAuthority.com provides a service to allow our customers to unlock cell phones for the sole purpose of lawfully connecting to a phone communication network. Any other use of a cell phone that is unlocked using our service is NOT our responsibility. By making a purchase of any unlocking service on UnlockAuthority.com the buyer agrees to accept full legal liability for his / her actions, use, misuse, financial gain, or transfer of the cellular phone.

When placing an order on UnlockAuthority.com you are fully responsible for providing the correct IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number for your phone. Entering the wrong IMEI will result with us generating the wrong unlock code and the code will not work on your mobile phone! In this case we do NOT refund your purchase, as we already pay our supplier for generating a code. On Android phones you have to make sure that you have the stock firmware installed (and not any custom ROM), otherwise the unlock code will not work. In this case you will have to flash back the original firmware on to your phone and enter the code again.

You are fully responsible to make sure that the phone model and network are compatible with and supported by our service. We only support GSM networks. We do not support service providers that use CDMA technology: e.g. Verizon.

GUARANTEES

UnlockAuthority.com guarantees that the service provided will unlock your cellular device. Should our service not work with your device, we will issue a full refund provided the following conditions are met:

All information provided by the Buyer at the time of ordering is 100% accurate, including the IMEI number, the network carrier and the phone model. The Buyer has followed the unlocking instructions exactly as stated. The target device is not stolen or blacklisted. The target device has not been unlocked previously. An unlocking procedure using a code has never been attempted on the target device. UnlockAuthority.com guarantees that your handset will not be damaged during the unlocking process.

 

DELIVERY TIME

All delivery times are estimates, the specified timelines are not guarunteed. We will make our absolute best effort to provide accurate estimates and meet those timelines however circumstances beyond our control (supplier delays, equipment failure, etc) may occasionally cause delays. We will keep the customer informed in the event of a delay and offer a partial discount where possible. Accepting this terms and conditions represent your acceptance of our delivery time.

BLACKLISTED PHONES

Unlocking your phone does not in any way alter any contractual obligations that you may have to your carrier. If you choose to move to different carrier without properly terminating your contract, your original carrier may choose to blacklist your phone. Blacklisting supersedes unlocking since the blacklist is shared across different carriers. UnlockAuthority.com will not provide a refund if a phone is successfully unlocked but cannot be used because it is blacklisted.

CREDIT CARD VERIFICATION

UnlockAuthority.com reserves the right to take the necessary precautions to prevent fraud. We may refuse any order which is suspicious or fraudulent. Additionally, we may ask you to submit supporting information that may be required to verify the use of a credit card. Orders that are found to be fraudulent may be reported to the proper authorities.

 

 

UnlockAuthority.com REFUND POLICY

If our service fails to unlock the handset, we will contact you to confirm that the information entered when the order was placed was accurate.
If the information entered at the time the order was placed is correct, we reserve the right to require additional evidence to verify the claim that the unlock procedure did not unlock your device. You will be required to send us a video recording showing the device in question, along with the IMEI number on the sticker of the device and the IMEI number displayed on the device screen. Additionally, the video must show you inserting an alternate SIM card in the device and the displayed message on the screen, then you typing the unlock code and the message displayed after you type in the code. These measures are the only way that we can verify the validity of your claim. If the information is valid, we will provide a refund.

Before you order an unlock code, make sure you follow our requirements checklist:

1. Be certain that your phone is locked. There will be no refund if your phone is already unlocked.

2. Be certain that your phone is NOT blacklisted or reported as LOST or STOLEN.

3. Be certain that your phone is NOT hard locked. If you tried too many times to unlock it before, your handset may be locked forever.

4. Make sure you select the correct phone model from the list. If you can’t find the model in the list, you must contact us first and do NOT select another model.

5. Make sure to give us the correct IMEI and to select the original country and network, NOT the one you want to use, NOT any other network.

6. Make sure your phone is using a GSM networks, we do not support CDMA providers.

7. If your phone is locked to MetroPCS or T-Mobile USA, make sure your phone asks for the unlock code or there is a field where you can enter the code. If your phone is locked via the “Device Unlock” app, you must NOT ignore the warning and you have to use the special service indicated to unlock the phone.

8. If you submit an Apple iPhone IMEI still under contract or having unpaid installments but when you selected the country and network you checked the box “My phone is out of contract, clean, without unpaid installments”, we will offer only a partial refund. A $5 processing fee will be hold in this case.

We will NOT be able to refund your money if our service fails to unlock your device for any of the reasons mentioned before.

Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled as we start processing your order when we receive your phone details. Even if you have not received your code yet, we can’t cancel the order, as the wheels are already in motion and the supplier is already processing the order. For this reason NO refund will be issued if you want to cancel your order while it’s still processing. To check on the progress of your order, Contact Us.

No refund will be issued for duplicate orders.
